In the period Muhammad II, we can see many varified forms of
lion figures on the copper coins minted in Amasya. (Image 38-46)
There are certain similarities between the copper coins minted
in Kastamonu and in Amasya. (Image 47-49) .
The Ottoman copper coins with lion figures minted in Dimashq are
very similar to the copper coins of Memluk. The memluk influence
on them is quite obvious. (Image 50-55).
The lion
figure on the Khirbert minted coin has quite a different style
as it is compared to the Ottoman coins with a lion figure on
them. (Image 56).
